Salvias at Great Comp Garden

William Dyson Joined the staff at Great Comp in 1993 and is now Curator of the garden. He also runs his own nursery business - Dysons Nurseries -  based at Great Comp and specialising in Salvias. 

One of William's great passions is Salvias;  of which, many can be seen growing in the garden - especially the new world species and cultivars.

In 2001, Dysons Nurseries staged an exhibit of Salvias at the Royal Horticultural Society's Great Autumn Show in London and achieved a Gold Medal.
